Private equity firm acquires CDW for $7.3 Billion

Computer retailer CDW became the latest company to be swallowed up by a private equity firm, announcing on Tuesday it had agreed to be bought by Madison Dearborn Partners for $7.3 billion.

Google Acquires GreenBorder

Google Inc. said on Tuesday it has bought Internet security startup GreenBorder Technologies Inc., which creates secure connections to protect e-mail and Web users from malicious or unwanted computer code.
Terms of the deal, which closed in mid-May, were not disclosed, according to Google spokesman Aaron Zamost.  Add another component to the Google Operating System...
